An anonymous person left a note on his Muslim neighbour's door in Cincinnati, Ohio after Donald Trump's presidential inauguration. In the heart-warming letter, he wrote that he will be always there for the refugee family who came to America with the hope of better opportunity and safer environment.
The letter came amidst several protests against the United States President Donald Trump across the world. Trump, who is often considered as an anti-Muslim, anti-gay and misogynist politician, was sworn in as America's 45th President on 20 January.
During his presidential campaign, Trump lashed out at Muslims on many occasions. In the final Republican debate, Trump said:
We are not talking about isolation. We're talking about security. We're not talking about religion. We're talking about security. Our country is out of control. People are pouring across the southern border. I will build a wall. It will be a great wall.
People will not come in unless they come in legally. Drugs will not come through that wall. As far as other people into migration where they're going, tens of thousands of people having cell phones with ISIS flags on them. I don't think so, Wolf. They're not coming to this country. And if I'm president and if Obama has brought some to this country, they are leaving. They're going. They're gone.
The picture of the letter was posted on Twitter by Hend Amry, who is known as the 'Queen of Muslim Twitter". In the post, she wrote: "After the Trump inauguration, some neighbours left this letter on my uncle's door in Cincinnati, Ohio."
