The retro-futuristic time capsule buried in Siberia 50 years ago was unearthed a couple of days back, and it indicated the Soviet's vast alien ambitions during the 1960s. The 50-year-old time capsule was placed in Novosibirsk cultural center, and it was meant to be opened in 2017 marking the 100th anniversary of the Russian revolution. Inside the time capsule, a three-page letter was enclosed, and it outlined the communist regime's vision of future including contact with alien life.

The Soviet Union communist leaders also assumed that humans would have started knowing and cooperating with aliens by 2017, but unfortunately, their timeline was never fulfilled.

"We believe that you have masterfully outfitted our wonderful blue planet, the Earth, explored the Moon and landed on Mars, that you are continuing the exploration of space started by the people of the first half of the century and that your starships have been long prowling the Galaxy," read the message.

Even though the then Soviet Union dreamt big, modern men have failed to meet these deadlines. We have landed in Moon only briefly, and later, most of the space agencies around the world suddenly stalled lunar missions. Recently, many conspiracy theorists claimed that moon is an alien base, and humans are not visiting moon following warnings from the extra-terrestrial life forms.

The Mars mission is still going on, and if the claims of Space X can be believed, humans will set up a colony on the red planet in less than a decade.

"We believe you are negotiating cultural and scientific cooperation with representatives of other, extra-terrestrial civilizations," the three-page letter reads.

The vision of conducting business with aliens is yet to get materialized, as humans are yet to make direct contact with extra-terrestrial beings. Even though many people are claiming UFO sightings on a daily basis, there are no authentic proofs to substantiate the existence of aliens.

The erstwhile Soviet Union also believed that the whole planet would have been brought under the soothing shades of communism by 2017. "We know, our time is interesting, but yours is more interesting. We have built communism, and you are living under communism," read the letter.

Before opening the capsule, a minute of silence was observed to honor the people who actually buried it. Interestingly, none of the communist members who buried the capsule are alive now to witness their ideologies getting shattered on the erstwhile Soviet soil.
