Tesla chief executive Elon Musk has just revealed that the Tesla Model 3 is coming before this month comes to a halt.

Musk took to Twitter on Sunday to announce that the first batch of the much-anticipated Tesla Model 3 will be available in the market starting 28 July. According to Musk, this schedule is two weeks ahead of the original rollout date since it has "passed all regulatory requirements for production".

The first 30 Tesla Model 3 cars will be up for grab on the said date, while 100 are expected to hit the market in August and 1,500 in September. Tesla is targeting to pull off 20,000 cars to be produced to be produced before December.

In March 2016, the Palo Alto conglomerate showed off the concept edition of Tesla Model 2 which spurred interest among car enthusiasts after the executive revealed that the model is the cheapest in the pack by far. Later, Tesla has reportedly received over 400,000 pre-orders.

It is deemed a mid-range budget-friendly choice for Tesla fans. Previously, Musk called this car "a smaller, more affordable" Model S with a whopping price tag at US$35,000.

Tesla Model 3 is a four-door sedan that can accommodate five adults. It has an autopilot hardware and supercharging capabilities. The base model is promised to deliver a 0-60 meters per hour in under six seconds and 215 miles per charge.

The car is "designed to achieve 5-star safety rating". In line with this promise, the company just won the high-profile case of the car crash that killed Joshua Brown, a Navy officer.

Brown was driving his Tesla Model S set to 74 miles per hour in a driver-assist mode in Williston, Florida. The car broadsided a truck and ended up in a private driveway crashed and completely destroyed.

The US National Highway Traffic Safety (NHTSA) found out in its investigation that Brown ignored warnings of the car as there were no signs that he was stomping the car's brake.
