Tampines Rovers host Warriors FC in their fourth match of the ongoing S.League season at the Jurong West Stadium on Saturday.
The Stags are heading into the game on the back of a 4-0 thrashing against Hanoi FC in their AFC Cup tie last month. On the other hand, Warriors were held by a visiting Geylang International team in their last league fixture. Notably, it has been three weeks since the two teams were involved in S.League action due to international assignments.

Tampines have had an inconsistent season so far, winning three and losing four across all competitions. Juergen Raab's men have not been able to stitch two consecutive wins so far this season. Having made a slow start to the league season as well, the Stags will need a win today to stay among the top-four as Warriors will be eyeing to topple and leapfrog them today.
It will be interesting to see if Raab decided to field Singapore internationals of the likes of Khairul Amri, Daniel Bennett and Yasir Hanapi, who have returned from Middle East after the Lions' AFC Asian Cup Qualifier draw against Bahrain on Wednesday. However, imports Ivan Dzoni and Ryarto Megumi have been in good form for the hots and the German tactician will bank on the duo to come up with a positive result today. All eyes will also be on centre-backs Madhu Mohana and Bennett as they have struggled to fend off opposition attacks in the AFC Cup campaigns.
On the other hand, Singapore captain Shahril Ishak, who suffered a foot injury in their 1-1 draw against Geylang and missed the trip to Bahrain, is expected to be back. A lot of focus will also be on winger Jordan Webb as he is set to face his former club today.
A win early in the season against Tampines will be a huge boost for the nine-time champions, who have struggled in the last two seasons.
