Overview
Swansea City suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Hull City in their last fixture. It was the third round FA Cup tie and the Welsh club have been knocked out of the cup competition. They are going through several changes as they have their third manager of the season at the club.
Paul Clement took charge at the Liberty Stadium after he replaced Bob Bradley. He has a huge task on his hands to change the fortune of the club in order to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
Arsenal enter this tie after registering a 2-1 victory over Preston North End. The Gunners were forced to come from behind to seal a berth in the fourth round of the FA Cup and their failure to win would have been one of the biggest upsets of this season.
In their last league fixture, they were forced to come from behind and settle for a 3-3 draw against AFC Bournemouth. Arsene Wenger's side were three goals down, but managed to make a comeback late in the fixture.
