Home United's new signing Stipe Plazibat said he does not feel pressure after replacing Ken Ilso at his new club for the 2017 S.League season.
Danish forward, Ilso, also known as "King Ken" was the second-highest goal-scorer in the league last season behind Brunei DPMM's Rafael Ramazotti (20) as he led home to a fourth-place finish, which also put them in contention for a spot in the 2017 AFC Cup.
The 30-year-old, who completed two seasons and scored 36 goals, declined a contract extension offer and has signed a pre-contract with Malaysia Super League club Kedah FA, according to The New Paper.

Home have added a lot of firepower to their squad since the departure of Ilso by signing the likes of Singapore internationals Izzdin Shafiq, Christopher van Huizen and young playmaker Adam Swandi along with Plazibat. They are also eyeing national custodian Hassan Sunny, who is returning to S.League after spending two years with recently-relegated Thai Premier League club Army United.
Plazibat himself impressed quite a lot with his performances at Hougang in the last season, which was also his maiden appearance in the S.League. The 31-year-old grabbed 16 goals and was one of the most successful foriegn hitmen in the league. The influential forward is confident of filling the void left by Ilso and helping Aidil Sharin's men clinch their first S.League title since 2003.
"Every season, I try to do better than the previous season. But, to me, the main target is to achieve something for the club. If I score fewer than 16 goals and we win a trophy, I'll be very happy. But, of course, I know that for a player in my position, I must score goals for us to be in contention," Plazibat said, as quoted by news daily.
"Ken did well in the last two seasons and, with me coming here to replace him, everybody will have expectations of me. Maybe there is a little bit of pressure in that sense, but I don't really feel it. I believe I can do at least the same of what Ken did."
