Thousands of people, wearing red shirts, gathered at an intersection in downtown Winnipeg, Canada, to form the largest living maple leaf to celebrate the countrys 150th anniversary. Downtown Winnipeg Biz, which organised the event, said at least 3,600 people were involved in the stunt that took place on Saturday (1 July) morning local time.
