Singapore's total securities market turnover increased 19 percent on year in November to S$28.5 billion, the country's exchange said Wednesday.
Market turnover value of Exchange Traded Funds was S$229 million last month, down 51 percent on year, while that of structured warrants more than doubled to S$1.9 billion, it said in a statement.
There were 80 new bond listings in November, raising S$30 billion, it said. Securities daily average value was S$1.3 billion, down 3 percent on year.
There were 2 new Catalist listings during the month, raising S$46.9 million ande 3 new Mainboard listings during the month that raised S$1.5 billion.
Total market capitalisation value of 752 listed companies stood at S$1.1 trillion as at end November 2017.
For the month, total derivatives volume was up 21 percent at 18 million, while SGX commodities derivatives volume was 1.4 million, up 9 percent, it added.
FTSE China A50 Index Futures remained the most active contract with volume of 7.3 million, up
14 percent on year.
