A 78-year-old cyclist died in an accident involving a tipper truck along East Coast Road on Saturday in Singapore. According to reports, the elderly man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The police were informed about the accident that took place after the junction of Still Road towards Siglap at around 9.27am. The authorities have arrested the truck driver for causing death by negligent act.
The police are still investigating the case.
