The demand for new private homes in Singapore rebounded in July due to new launches, data showed on Monday.
According to data from the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), developers sold 1,091units in July, almost double the number of units sold in June.
Sales were stronger as more projects were launched during the last month.
The URA data showed that 1,486 new private homes were launched in July including the executive condominiums - (ECs).
But when compared against the sales of 1,655 units in July last year, last month's sales were down by 34 per cent.
Among all the developments, the private development Lake Grande at Jurong Lake Link and ECs Treasure Crest at Anchorvale and North Wave at Woodlands View showed the strongest sales in July 2016.
