Former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad,was questioned by the police for the second time on Wednesday at his office in Perdana Leadership Foundation, Putrajaya.
Lawyer Mohamed Haniff Khatri Abdulla confirmed that Mahathir was questioned by the police. However, he couldn't share what exactly Mahathir was questioned about.
This is the second time this month that the authorities questioned the former prime minister.
In his first questioning session, Mahathir was asked about his statement regarding the house arrest of Yang di-Pertuan Agong and other Malay Rulers were "placed under house arrest".
Local media reports said the iconic leader was grilled over for his statement likening Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak to Ugandan dictator Idi Amin.
The country's longest serving prime minister said after the meeting with the police that he didn't accuse Najib of killing people, Malaysiakini reported.
