James Mattis issued a warning to North Korea, as he Pentagon chief urged the reclusive nation to cease any consideration of actions that would lead to the end of its regime and destruction of its people. The statement came just one day after President Donald Trumps threats of fire and fury in response to the ongoing international ballistic missile tests in Pyongyang. New sanctions on the countrys exports—a  $1 billion ban—were unanimously approved by the UN.
