In the last league tie, the Red Devils managed to beat Premier League champions Leicester City 4-1 at home. Chris Smalling opened the scoring for his side, before Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba all got their name on the scoresheet. All four goals were scored in the first half.
The former Real Madrid and Chelsea manager will be looking for a similar performance when his side take on the Potters at home this weekend.
Stoke, on the other hand enter this match after settling for a 1-1 draw against West Bromwich Albion. That was their second draw in the league this campaign, following their another 1-1 draw against Middlesbrough on the opening day.
Mark Hughes' side are without a win in the Premier League and are also out of the EFL Cup, having lost to Hull City at home. The former United player has a task on his hands to end his side's misery to succumb further damage.
