Overview
Manchester United registered a 2-0 victory over West Ham United in their last fixture. Juan Mata and Zlatan Ibrahimovic were on the scoresheet as that helped the Red Devils seal their first win of this calendar year.
United are the defending champions of the FA Cup, which they achieved after defeating Crystal Palace in the final last May. Jose Mourinho will be hoping his side can start the defence with a victory on Saturday.
The Portuguese tactician is set to make several changes to his starting lineup for the clash against the Championship side. A victory at home will see them progress to the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Reading, on the other hand, have lost twice in their last 10 matches played in all competitions and Jaap Stam will be looking to extend the record when he takes on his former club. He was impressive as a player at Old Trafford and has already shown his worth with the Championship side.
