A 36-year-old man died on Friday evening after he was pinned under a taxi in Singapore. The accident took place at the car park of Block 475, Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it was informed about the incident at around 8.50 pm. The officers used a hydraulic spreader and an airbag and released the man from beneath the vehicle. The SCDF paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The police arrested the male taxi driver for causing death by a negligent act, Channel NewsAsia reported.
