Liverpool host already-relegated Middlesbrough in the final matchday of 2016/17 Premier League season at Anfield on Sunday.
The fourth-placed team need a win to finish inside top-four and earn a Champions League berth as fifth-placed Arsenal, who have a point less than the Reds (73), are still in with a chance to leapfrog them. A victory though can help them overtake Manchester City, who are on the third spot with 75 points, if Pep Guardiola's side fails at Watford today.
On the other hand, Middlesbrough, who are reeling at the 19th spot with only five wins this season, have nothing much to play for expect a morale-boosting win.

The Reds are heading into the tie on the back of a dominant 4-0 win over West Ham United last week. Klopp's men are favourites to win today's tie but they cannot afford to be complacent as Middlesbrough will want to give their all in their final Premier League match before relegation.
Despite having a solid record over Middlesbrough, their recent form at home and struggles against lesser-ranked teams this season might come to haunt Klopp's side. Since their 3-1 win over Everton last month, Liverpool have been winless in three straight games at the Anfield, an unwanted record, which they would want to set straight today.
Loss of winger Sadio Mane has hurt the team and Roberto Firmino is doubtful as well. With a lot to play for on the big night, there cannot be an easier opponent for the Reds and it is their game to lose. A top-four finish for Klopp in his first season as the club's full-time coach will also help them in the long run.
