Liverpool crashed out of the Carabao cup in familiar fashion against Leicester City on Tuesday night as second-half goals from Shinji Okazaki and Islam Slimani saw the Foxes win.
The loss means Liverpool are still winless in all of September, having lost to Manchester City while drawing the rest of their games including home games against Sevilla and Burnley.

Fans were excited to see how certain fringe players would perform, with Klopp making eight changes from the draw with Burnley.
It didn't pan out that way, though, as typical poor finishing proved costly and shaky defending allowed the hosts to progress.
And despite a good first half performance, Liverpool were unable to make the pressure tell as they lost 2-0 to the Foxes in the third round at the King Power Stadium.
The Merseyside club dominated proceedings in the first half with Philippe Coutinho impressing, but the game was turned on its head in the second half when he was replaced.
Substitute Okazaki fired the Foxes ahead shortly after the break and Islam Slimani wrapped up the victory with a superb strike ten minutes later. Here's how Twitter reacted to the defeat:

This is exactly what happens when you spend more time telling people you're going to sign a defender instead of actually signing one #LFC

And to think, Liverpool could have added all his pointless runs, aimless dribbles and wayward crosses for free in just nine months time.

Liverpool going out of the cup so Klopp can focus on the league and not winning a trophy for another year

Every single Liverpool game is exactly the same. Dominate, don't score, concede from the first shot, rinse and repeat

Danny Ward looking calm, collected and confident in the Liverpool goal. Must be training on his own at Melwood.
