Singaporean conglomerate Keppel Corp said its property arm Keppel Land's chief executive officer will be leaving the company after more than 26 years of service.
Ang, who joined the Keppel Land Group in 1991 and was appointed CEO in 2013, will be leaving the company on December 31 to pursue other interests.
Prior to his appointment as the CEO of Keppel Land, Ang held senior management positions in the group such as being the executive vice chairman of Keppel Land China and chief executive officer, international of Keppel Land International.
Before joining the Keppel Land Group, Ang acquired diverse experience in the hotel, real estate and management consulting industries in the U.S., Hong Kong and Singapore
Keppel Land is currently evaluating possible candidates to
assume the role of CEO, it said in a statement on Sunday.
Loh Chin Hua, CEO of Keppel Corp, who is concurrently chairman of Keppel Land, will assume the role of Executive Chairman of Keppel Land with effect from January 1, 2018.
Also Louis Lim, director of group strategy and development at Keppel Corp, will be appointed chief operating officer of Keppel Land with effect from January 1, 2018.
Shares in Keppel Corp fell 0.3 percent to S$6.29 on the Singapore Exchange. The stock has gained 9 percent so far this year.
