Johor Darul Ta'zim travel to Manila to take on United Football League champions Global FC in their Group F clash at the Rizal Memorial Stadium on Wednesday.
The Malaysian Super League champions are heading into the game with a chance to qualify for the zonal semi-final as they are now topping the group with seven points from three games. JDT though will look to rebuild during their visit to Manila as their seven-match unbeaten streak ended against Pahang in their FA Cup quarter-final first leg on Saturday.
On the other hand, Global have had quite a lot of rest following their crushing 4-0 defeat to JDT in their first-leg outing in Johor last month and they will be eager to claim revenge.

JDT were the dominant of the two sides in their last meeting with their Argentine playmaker Gabriel Guerra helping the team run riot at home. However, things could change in Manila as JDT are coming into the match after playing a game as recently as Saturday.
Fatigue could be a key factor but Mora will look to rotate his squad and thus Guerra is expected to be given a more attacking role with skipper Safiq Rahim and Gonzalo Cabrera pulling the strings for them.
On other hand, Global, who are just a point behind JDT despite the loss in their last outing, will look to hit back but they will have to be disciplined at the back to match the Malaysian side, who are experienced enough to handle away situations.
A lot will depend on Brazilian center-back Dos Santos' cominbation with Amani Aguinaldo as the onus to stop JDT's attacks will be on the duo. All eyes will be on Misagh Bahadoran as well as the Filipino stiker will look to make amends after being dropped from the national squad for Asian Cup qualifiers.
