A familys surveillance cameras have captured the moment a Minneapolis police officer shot and injured two dogs in their backyard. Jennifer LeMay posted the video on Facebook. It appears to show the police officer enter her backyard on July 8 and look around, before drawing his firearm and shooting two Staffordshire Bull Terriers. Italian police arrested a Chechen man suspected of being an Isis militant. He is believed to have been involved in attacks in Grozny, Chechnya, in 2014. The attacks on media offices and a school left 19 dead. The 38-year-old man is accused of crimes of international terrorism. A 31-year-old man died after driving a car filled with propane into his ex-girlfriends home. A police bodycam video shows the car on fire as officers try to extinguish the flames. Floridas Fort Pierce Department said driver Carl Philbert was involved in a dispute at the address before returning with his car and crashing into the apartment building. An inquiry into historic child abuse on the island of Jersey found a catalogue of failures in its care system spanning several decades, according to findings published in a report on Monday (July 3).The inquiry, led by Frances Oldham QC, heard 553 offences took place between 1947 and 2004. A Brazilian drug lord has been arrested after three decades on the run. Luiz Carlos da Rocha was one of South Americas biggest cocaine kingpins. He is said to have amassed a personal fortune of $100m (£77m). 150 police agents carried out 24 raids and seized $10m worth of the drug lords assets, including planes, properties and luxury cars.
