Overview
Cleveland Cavaliers host Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference clash of the 2016/17 NBA regular season at the Quicken Loans Arena on 3 November.
Cavaliers have begun the ongoing season on a high winning all their four previous matches, which is also their best start since their 2000/01 season. The previous best for the Wine and Gold came during the 1966/67 season when they opened with a 8-0 record.
The LeBron James-led side, who are also playing their third consecutive home game before they head to Philadelphia on Saturday, opened the season with a 117-88 win over New York Knicks on 25 October.
James wasted no time in getting back to business as he scored 19 points and added 11 rebounds to decimate Knicks. Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving have also made solid contributions for the side, which is fresh from its 2015/16 season success.
In the rematch of last season's Eastern Conference finals on Friday, Cavaliers pipped Toronto Raptors 94-91 as Irving scored 26 points. The defending champions brushed aside challenges from Orlando Magic and Houston Rockets as well.
Tyronn Lue's team has been able to maintain their intensity so far in the season and their strong front line will be up and against a team, which is known for it defensive discipline.
However, it would be interesting to see how Boston, who are serious contenders for a spot in the playoff, fare as they are playing back-to-back games on Wednesday and Thursday.
They have also had a decent start to their season, notching up three wins in their four games, with the latest coming against Chicago Bulls, against whom they suffered a defeat earlier in the season.
Boston opened their season with a closely-fought contest, which they won 122-117 against Brooklyn Nets.
A lot will depend on star defender Avery Bradley to contain the Cavaliers, who are already on top of the NBA charts with 52-three pointers. New-signing Al Horford's participation remains doubtful after he missed Wednesday's game due to concussion.
