Overview
Chesea registered a comfortable 3-0 victory over AFC Bournemouth on Boxing Day to extend their winning streak in the Premier League to 12 matches. Pedro opened the scoring in the first half before Eden Hazard doubled the lead in the second half from the spot kick.
The visitors had no chance against the west London club as the Blues are flying under Antonio Conte's guidance. The change in formation has helped the Italian manager and Chelsea to revive their season.
Chelsea will be looking for another victory when they take on the Potters in the Premier League fixture on New Year's Eve. They are sitting comfortable on top of the table and a victory will allow them to extend the run.
Stoke, on the other hand, gave away their early lead against Liverpool as the match ended in a 4-1 win for the Reds. Jonathan Walters gave an early lead for Mark Hughes' side, but the Merseyside club bounced back with two goals in each half to help them seal three points.
