Indonesian air force training aircraft crashes

An Indonesian Air Force training aircraft has crashed in Malang in East Java, on Wednesday morning, local media reported.

Casualties are feared though it's unclear if anyone has been killed. Local media reported witnesses saw rescuers carrying body bags, Jakarta Globe said.

The aircraft that crashed is a . The training aircraft crashed into a housing area at 10.45 am local time some 15 kilometers from the Abdulrachman Saleh Air Force base.

"The crashed aircraft is a military training aircraft. We can't provide further details at the time," Air Force base spokesman Hamdi Londong Allo told CNN Indonesia.
