Black Friday, the annual American retail shopping bonanza, is back again in 2016 and shoppers all across the globe have geared up to grab the best deals post-Thanksgiving. This year the sale was scheduled on November 25 but the sale is valid for the weekend as well.
Many retailers have also stretched the one-day shopping extravaganza over several days to attract as many customers as possible. Amazon and several other supermarkets started their sales up to 10 days before the D-day.
Customers were seen visiting the stores from 5 am on Friday while some opted to bag the bargains from bed using their smartphones from midnight itself.
Stores have planned exciting offers for its customers as they join the Black Friday bandwagon. Retailers and payment firms also reported of strong sales activity for the annual discount event. Online retailers said the initial figures of Black Friday topped their expectations.
From electronic goods to beauty products, people were seen buying as per their need from their favourite stores.
