Australia took the victory over Honduras 3-1 aggregate on 15 November, Wednesday at ANZ Stadium in Sydney and confirmed their place in 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Mile Jedinak, the captain of Australia, scored three goals to confirm their place in World Cup 2018. In the 54th minute, he scored the first goal followed by two penalties for Socceroos.

However, the visitors tried to fight back towards the ending stage of the match. Although the captain of Honduras, Maynor Figueroa scored one goal during the last few minutes, it was too late to equalize the scoreline.

After the final whistle, along with the Australian players, the entire crowd started celebrating the win. Here IBTimes Singapore has compiled some of the images from the World Cup qualifier match.
