Arsenal suffered an early-season defeat to the Toffees at the Goodison Park last December, but with a Champions League finish in sight, the Gunners are expected to come up with a strong fight. Arsene Wenger, who has not revealed anything about his club future amid calls for his departure, will want another top-four finish, which also heavily depend on the outcome of the game between Liverpool and Middlesbrough today.

Having won six of their last seven matches in the league, including wins against Manchester United and Leicester City, Arsenal are well-placed to exact revenge on Ronald Koeman's men, who have not had the best of results recently, with only one win from their last four league matches.

On the other hand, Romelu Lukaku is two goals behind top-scorer Harry Kane in the race for Golden Boot this season and the Belgian's quest for the milestone might spur the Toffees on in today's game. Meanwhile, Alexis Sanchez, whose future at the Emirates Stadium is in doubt, is also not lagging behind with 23 goals so far.

Leave alone the Champions League berth, a win today for Wenger will help himself and his side to head into Saturday's FA Cup final against Chelsea on a high.
