Overview

Arsenal will host Bournemouth in Premier League 2016/17 clash at the Emirates Stadium on 27 November.

The Gunners have stumbled in the race for the top spot after they were held to draws against Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United in their last two league games. Arsenal also let two points slip away in their Champions League fixture against Paris Saint-Germain against Wednesday after being in a comfortable position.

Arsene Wenger's side, who have not lost a game since their opening day defeat to Liverpool, picked up pace and were well placed to top the table after three impressive wins in October.

At home, Arsenal will look to get back to winning ways against a relatively easier opposition in Bournemouth, who will miss their key player - on-loan Gunners midfielder, Jack Wilshere.

Wenger's men will be boosted by the goal-scoring form of Olivier Giroud as well. The 30-year-old forward has scored five goals in his last four matches for the club in all competitions and has been chipping in the crucial ones as well.

However, the hosts will be without some of their key stars, including Lucas Perez, Hector Bellerin, Santi Cazorla and Danny Welbeck, who have been sidelined due to injuries.

On the other hand, Eddie Howe's men, currently placed 10th, will be boosted as they head into tonight's match after an impressive 1-0 win over Stoke City on 19 November. However, playing at home the Gunners will look to improve their 3-0 head-to-head record over the Cherries and cut down catch up with the top three - Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City.
