E-commerce giant Amazon is all set to enter into South-east Asia by launching its services in Singapore as soon as this week, technology news website TechCrunch reported.
The launch will see Amazon Prime, Amazon Prime Now fast delivery and Amazon's regular e-commerce services become available to Singapore, TechCrunch reported on Tuesday, citing a source with knowledge of the plans.
Southeast Asia, with its 600 million consumers, will be a huge market for the U.S. retailer.
The Amazon Prime service is currently available in the U.S. for US$99 per annum. Amazon Prime provides free-shipping on international goods for an annual fee.
