Ceres Negro FC host Tampines Rovers in their second Group G clash of the ongoing AFC Cup tournament in Bacolod City on Tuesday.

The Stags have begun their campaign well by beating Malaysia's Felda United 2-1 last month shortly after losing out on a AFC Champions League spot due to defeat to Global FC in their qualifying round one match. On the other hand, Philippines' Ceres were held to a 1-1 draw by Hanoi FC on the road in February.

Time: 7:30pm SGT/5pm IST/11:30am GMT

Competition: AFC Cup 2017

Venue: Panaad Stadium, Bacolod City

TV Channel: Fox Sports will provide live TV coverage in Singapore.

Juergen Raab's men will also be high on confidence after getting their S.League campaign back on track following their season-opening defeat to Albirex Niigata by beating Hougang United 2-1 on Friday.

Stags' strikers Ivan Dzoni, Ryutaro Megumi Khairul Amri are in good form and have already contributed with goals in the previous outings. A lot on Tuesday would also depend on the pairing of Singapore internationals Daniel Bennett and Madhu Mohana, who have combined well, at the back.

On the other hand, Ceres will want to get a positive result in their first home game of the season. Despite scoring the first goal against Hanoi last month, they conceded a second half-goal and thereby settled for a draw.

The Philippines giants have not had enough match practise as their local league season has not started yet. Despite facing Tampines four times last season - losing two of them and winning only one, Ceres will have to work hard to test the revamped and in-form S.League club.
