Overview

Crystal Palace suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at the hands of Everton in the last league tie. Tom Davies was once again the star man for his side as his assist to Seamus Coleman in the 87th minute helped the latter to score the only goal of the match.

Sam Allardyce will be hoping his side can bounce back from the recent run of poor performance and register a victory over Manchester City. The Eagles will keep their hope of making to the second final in a row alive, if they beat the Citizens.

City, on the other hand, settled for a 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur in their last league tie at home. Leroy Sane opened the scoring before Kevin De Bruyne doubled the lead. However, the north London club came from behind to score two goals to settle for a point.

Pep Guardiola saw his side register a crushing 5-0 win over West Ham United in the last league tie. The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager will be looking for a similar performance when his side takes on Palace.
