The Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) said on Wednesday that the results of the 2016 Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE O-Level) examination will be released on Jan 11.
MOE and the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) said in a joint press release that the students may collect their results from their respective schools at 2 pm on the scheduled day.
According to MOE and SEAB, the private candidates will be notified of their individual results by post. The result slips will be mailed to the candidates' address that has been provided at the time of registration. However, private candidates eligible for SingPass can use their account to get their results online from 2 pm on the same day.
The media release also added that the students, who are willing to apply for Junior Colleges, Millennia Institute, polytechnics or the Institute of Technical Education can do so through the Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) using their GCE O-level examination results.
MOE and SEAB said the registrations for JAE will open on Jan 11 from 3 pm till 4 pm on Jan 16.
