Overview
Philippines take on Indonesia in their second Group A encounter of the 2016 AFF Suzuki Cup in Bulacan on 22 November. Philippines must have been disappointed after having been held to a goalless draw in their tournament opener by Singapore on Saturday. Despite the Lions being down to 10-men as early as in the first half, the Azkals were not able to make use of the advantage.
Striker Hikaru Minegishi, who came on as second half substitute came up with quite a few good chances but was not able to find the back of the net.

Thomas Dooley's side now find themselves in a tricky situation. They cannot afford a loss against Indonesia, who started their Suzuki Cup campaign with a defeat against tournament favourites Thailand on the opening day.
The Azkals coach insisted that his team needed to do well as they would be facing the in-form Thais in their final encounter. Three points on Tuesday will help them a long way in making their passage into the semi-final easier.
"Of course, the players are a little bit frustrated and upset that we didn't score and win against Singapore, but nothing has changed," Dooley said, as quoted by the ESPN.
"Even if we had lost or won against Singapore, we still know we need to beat Indonesia and then see what we have to do against Thailand."
On the other hand, Indonesia looked positive even in their defeat against one of the strongest Southeast Asian teams.
In their first competitive match after Fifa lifted the ban on their nation, the Garudas played with intent and were tied 2-2 with the Thais in the second half before Teerasil Dangda took the game away from them.
On Tuesday, a do-or-die situation should spur Alfred Riedl to come up with their best against the co-hosts. After a spirited show against the tournament favourites, Indonesia will definitely fight hard to keep their hopes alive.
