US President Barack Obama's term has almost come to the end and the very thought of it is disturbing his fans, especially his young admirers.
The President, who is scheduled to leave the office in about two months after a new president takes charge, has been immensely popular among kids. He is quite often seen reaching out to the kiddies - be it a handshake or replying to their letters.
It is no doubt that kids also love the outgoing president right back. On numerous occasions, they have been photographed while playing hide-and-seek with the American leader and running down the corridors of The White House.
On 31 October, Barack and Michelle Obama threw a spectacular Halloween party for kids.
Thousands of guests, including students from 15 schools, visited the White House dressed in spooky costumes. The president and the first lady danced with the children along to Michael Jackson's songs and later handed out candy to the little guests.
"We hope, parents, that on this day at least, you don't have to pay attention to Michelle and healthy eating," said Obama, as reported by The Guardian.
No doubt the kids will miss their beloved president when he is gone.
