A couple was found dead on Saturday evening at a condominium in Novena, Singapore by the Singapore Police Force (SPF).
SPF said it was informed about the incident around 7 pm on Saturday. The police are investigating the cause of the unnatural deaths.
The 46-year-old man, who has been identified as Wang Chan Foo, was found motionless at the foot of the condominium at 200 Moulmein Road. The man was pronounced dead at the scene by the Singapore Civil Defence Force paramedics.
Ng Soo San, the 44-year-old woman, was also found dead in a unit in the same block.
Channel NewsAsia reported that the police found the woman in one of the bedrooms with multiple stab wounds on her upper body.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force said the man fell to his death from the balcony. It was reported that the responders tried to save the man by setting up a safety life air pack.
The authorities had forced entry into the 13th floor condominium unit.
Reports say the couple was apparently in the process of separation. They are survived by two children, a 13-year-old daughter and a seven-year-old son. The children were attending tuition nearby when the incident took place.
Ng is said to have been living at the couple's matrimonial home in Toa Payoh.
Till now, the police did not arrest any suspect in this case.
