Eden Hazard lauded Chelsea manager Antonio Conte saying that the Italian's passion will help the club achieve its targets.
Conte arrived at Stamford Bridge in the second week of July 2016 with a task in hand after The Blues had a woeful 2015/16 Premier League season, in which they finished 10th. Under their new manager though, Chelsea had a perfect start to their campaign before playing out a draw against Swansea City and losing to Liverpool 2-1 at home.
However, Hazard believes Conte will be able to get them back to winning ways. The Belgian international himself looks more confident than he was in the last season and has already opened his account for Chelsea scoring two goals from five league appearances. He believes he will be able to give his best for the club under the Italian in the ongoing season.
"He [Conte] a top guy, he tries to speak a lot with the players, to talk a lot, and we are pleased to work with him," Hazard told Chelsea TV, as quoted by the Mirror.
"He has the passion to do his job. He gives everything on the bench and we try to give everything on the pitch.
"He's a top manager, he's a top man.
"During games I try to stay focused, but sometimes when I watch the game the day after (on television) I see him. He's a little bit crazy sometimes on the bench."
The 47-year-old coach will take his team to the King Power Stadium on Tuesday for their League Cup third round clash against Leicester City. Chelsea will be relying on their in-form striker Diego Costa, who has already scored five league goals in the campaign, to deliver against the Premier League defending champions.
Tuesday's game will also see Conte continuing with David Luiz, who returned to London after spending two years with Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain, at the back as injured John Terry is expected to return for Chelsea's Premier League game against Arsenal on Saturday. While maintaining that the side was happy to have the Brazilian defender back, Hazard said he enjoyed his partnership with Costa.
"Diego is (also) a top player, he is on the pitch to score goals, he has the desire to score a goal every game and it's always good to play with him. He's sharp," Hazard added.
"Everybody is happy to see (Luiz) back. On the pitch he is a warrior. He brings that mentality. He wants to win everything. This is what we need."
