The season-end big fight aka 2017 Nitto ATP Finals tournament is going to start from 12 November, Sunday with four scheduled matches in London.

Day 1

Afternoon Session

Match One: Henri Kontinen/ John Peers vs Ryan Harrison/ Michael Venus

The tournament will start with a doubles match, where Australian ace John Peers and his partner Henri Kontinen will be facing American player Ryan Harrison and New Zealand's Michael Venus in a group stage face off.

On the same day, right after the first match, the Swiss great Roger Federer will be serving against 2017 Paris Masters winner Jack Sock in the afternoon session at the centre court.

According to head-to-head stats, the current world No. 2 Federer has 3-0 lead against the world rank three Sock. Both the players had faced each other in 2017 ATP World Tour Masters 1000 Indian Wells, where Federer defeated the 25-year-old Sock in a round of 16 match by 6-3, 6-2.

Later in the same year, they met again in Basel and the 2017 Australian Open and Wimbledon champion Federer took the victory over Sock in a semi-final match by 6-3, 6-4.

After almost two years both of them had battled again in a semi-final match of ATP World Tour Masters 1000 Indian Wells and the 36-year-old Federer sealed the match by 6-1, 7-6.

In 2017 Federer was featured in Swiss Indoors Basel, Shanghai Rolex Masters, US Open, Coupe Rogers, Gerry Weber Open, Mercedes Cup, Miami Open presented by Itaú, BNP Paribas Open and Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, including other two Grand Slam tournaments.

On the other hand, Sock had played in Swiss Indoors Basel, Intrum Stockholm Open, Shanghai Rolex Masters, China Open, US Open, Western & Southern Open, Coupe Rogers, Citi Open, BB&T Atlanta Open, Wimbledon, Roland Garros, Internazionali BNL d'Italia, Mutua Madrid Open, Fayez Sarofim & Co. US Men's Clay Court Championship, AUS vs. USA WG QF, Miami Open presented by Itaú, BNP Paribas Open, Abierto Mexicano Telcel, Delray Beach Open, USA vs. SUI WG 1st RD and Australian Open.

The first day of the tournament will be followed by a big round-robin match in doubles category, where the Dutch ace Jean-Julien Rojer and Romanian partner Horia Tecau will be playing against two French men Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut.

The day one will end with another singles match between world No. 3 Alexander Zverev and Croatian Marin Čilić at the centre court in London. In a head-to-head count, the 20-year-old Zverev has a 3-1 lead against the world rank five Čilić.

Both the players first played in 2015 at Washington, where  Čilić won the battle but in next three matches Zvrev took the victory over Čilić.
