Wifi service provider Nera Telecommunications said it won contracts worth S$14.9 million for both the Network Infrastructure and Wireless Infrastructure Network businesses.
For the Network Infrastructure segment, NeraTel was awarded a S$7.0 million contract by a government entity in the Philippines.
The contract involves supply, install, upgrade, and provide maintenance support relating to information system communication network equipment.
Separately, the Group will also design, supply and deliver Transmission Equipment with accessories to facilitate several North African operators' roll out of the 4G network in the region.
This S$7.9 million contract will boost the order in-take of the Wireless Infrastructure Network business to over S$40.0 million.
The contracts are not expected to have a significant impact on the performance of the Company and its subsidiaries for the current financial year, the company said in a regulatory filing on Tuesday evening.
Shares in the SGX-listed firm jumped 4 percent to S$0.390 at 0410 GMT. The stock has lost about 4 percent so far this year.
