Real Madrid take on Italian giants Juventus in the final of 2016/17 Champions League at the National Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday.

The La Liga champions defeated city rivals Atletico Madrid 5-1 on aggregate in the semi-final to give themselves a chance to become the first club to win the Champions League title in consecutive years. On the other hand, Juventus eased past Monaco 4-1 in the last-four stage and are eyeing a treble this season after having won the league and the domestic cup.

In what is expected to be a tightly-contested clash, the battle will be between Real's attack and Juventus' defence as both the units have excelled in the competition. Zinedine Zidane's side has scored the most number of goals this season (32) with Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo being the second-highest goal-scorer in the competition with 10 goals, one behind Barcelona's Lionel Messi.

On the other hand, Juventus have let in only three goals throughout and only one in the knockout stages, despite facing the likes of Porto (R16), Barcelona (quarter-final) and Monaco (Semi-final). Massimiliano Allegri's will have a fully-fit squad to choose from and the defensive trio of Giorgio Chiellini, Leonardo Bonucci and Andrea Barzagli along with captain Gianluigi Buffon, who is eyeing his maiden Champions League title, will be their key.

Also, Real need to be wary of Paulo Dybala, who will start behind striker Gonzalo Higuain, as he has been key to Juventus' campaign this season.

On the other hand, Real might be without Gareth Bale, who is fit after being sidelined with a calf injury since 23 April. Isco is more than a handy replacement but the Spanish side might be tempted to play the fit-again Bale in his home city tonight.
